Hi I’m Aaron,

I am the head trainer and co-owner of Bad Pup Club!

A little background on me… I have been training dogs professionally since 2019. In 2017 I was in a near death motorcycle accident that caused severe depression with a long road to recovery. I decided to see a therapist who suggested an ESA (emotional support animal). October of 2018, I found Koda at ‘A Passion for Paws Akita Rescue’ and knew it was meant to be.

Koda gave me the strength to get out of bed everyday when I could and would stay with me in bed no matter how long after surgeries when I couldn’t. He gave me purpose... but I still needed help with his obedience.

A close friend knew of my situation and offered to help train us. I started helping with the dogs and found a passion for dog training. Since then I have been dedicated to helping others achieve what I have been able to with Koda! I have attended many seminars and worked with many great trainers that helped further my education including working dogs, behavioral modification, therapy dogs, sport dogs, etc.

Hi I’m Elena,

I’m the communications manager and co-owner of Bad Pup Club!

Having grown up around all types of animals I developed a passion for helping animals at a young age. When I moved to California from my home town in Germany I knew I wanted to finally get my first very own dog. I knew I wanted to rescue a pup, and after a long search a friend found Hades for me and I knew I had to help him.

I had always wanted to work training and rescuing dogs but never saw it as realistic. Once I had Hades, I knew I had to do right by him and help as many others as I could so I applied to basically any dog related job determined to understand every aspect of pet ownership. I started working as a playroom attendant at a doggy day care and quickly progressed to their operations manager. Along the way learning and educating myself on dog first aid, grooming, proper dog nutrition, and dog behaviors. I shadowed dog trainers whenever I could and kept working on training Hades as well as helping others with their dogs. Additionally, I am close to graduating with my Bachelors in Business Management.
